Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse is coming to Xbox One on September 4th. Many will know Broken Sword is a series that dates back to 1996 when the first game The Shadow of Templars was released. Dormant for some time, there was no assurance that the point and click adventure game franchise would be as popular as it had once been; but when a Kickstarter campaign was launched to help fund a new iteration of the series in Broken Sword 5. The community responded fervently to push the campaign past its goal in just 13 days.
Come September you’ll be able to purchase a digital or physical copy Broken Sword 5 for £19.99/$29.99€29.99. The retail version is bundled with a printed comic book of the game’s prelude.
