Indie developer Digital Dreams have announced that their PlayStation Vita exclusive Metrico, an infographical puzzle platformer that was part of August 2014’s PlayStation Plus Instant Games Collection is getting a sequel entitled Metrico+. The sequel will feature enhanced visuals and more puzzles and is coming to Xbox One. Despite being a bit rough around the edges, I thoroughly enjoyed Metrico with its novel gameplay and thought-provoking puzzles. Metrico was one of the few Vita exclusives that used all of the handheld’s quirky capabilities and it’ll be interesting to see how the puzzles of its successor translate to alternative hardware. All will be revealed when Metrico+ comes to Xbox One in the first quarter of 2016.
