Ready to feel old? The last unique Tony Hawk Pro Skater game was released back in 2002, that was a 13 years ago and I believe many people still have fond memories of this game series. The game had a simple concept, you had to achieve a list of goals on each level to earn money to qualify to progress to the next level. So in text it does not seem that exciting, though in my teenage years I spent a great deal of time playing these games and destroying high scores of friends. It was the fun sort of competitive game that never really made people angry or tempers were lost.

So now in 2015 we see the release of the first new addition to the Pro Skater series since 2002, coming to previous and current generation consoles in September 2015 the game is only just around the corner. Like all games, a recently trailer has been released with segments of interview with not only the development team, but the legend Tony Hawk himself.

An interesting new feature is the build you own park mode, this was in previous games but the ability to share them on-line and rate parks was not. There will also be a range of real world skate parks and locations for the real life skate fans to get excited about playing.

Long time fans of the series have been assured that you will be able to pick up the controller and get back into the swing of things in no time at all. All I hope is that I can still smash the high scores of my friends.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5 will be out for release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 29th 2015.
