As a bit of a shocker, Ubisoft closed out their press briefing announcing a new Ghost Recon game.
Ditching their near-future setting of Advanced Warfighter and Future Soldier, Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open world game, where you seemingly take out a number of different drug lords. It has the massive scale combat you’d expect from Ghost Recon, with some interesting gadgets, vehicles and weapons at your disposal. There’s a great amount of gameplay in the reveal trailer, and it looks like the world is very, very large, possibly even spanning more than South America.
