Fans of thrilling comic book stories and video games are in for a treat with the launch of “The Analyst: Redacted”, a one-shot comic book from video game producer, Des Gayle. This project is a part of the larger Section 42 Universe, a series of 5 transmedia projects.
Follow the journey of Jane Sommers, an elite US military operator, as she recounts her classified mission that went awry, resulting in her capture behind enemy lines. The 32-36 page, full-colour comic book will be saddle-stitched and measure 6-5/8 inch wide x 10-1/4 inch high.
“The Analyst: Redacted” is written by Corey Brotherson, a seasoned comic book writer with over 22 years of experience in the video games industry. The illustrations are by Amalas Rosa, a German comic artist with a diverse portfolio that includes album covers and comic art for major publishers.
For those looking for a unique experience, the limited edition softcover graphic novel comes with an exclusive cover by Amalas Rosa and is limited to a print run of 100. This edition is only available on Kickstarter, so act fast before they’re gone!

Des Gayle, the founder and producer of Altered Gene, is no stranger to success in the gaming industry. With a career spanning over 10 years, he has worked on major projects such as the launch of the original Xbox, Life Is Strange, and Square Enix Collective.
Kyle Petchock, a talented freelance illustrator based in Baltimore, Maryland, has been added to the team of “The Analyst: Redacted” as the comic’s illustrator. With over five years of experience in the art world, Petchock has a diverse portfolio that includes projects for Marvel’s licensing art department, comic projects like “Skylin”, published by Source Point Press, and indie titles like “Villains Seeking Hero” and “Project Naosis”. Petchock’s personal mantra is “Keep Persevering,” which represents his initials and symbolizes his journey of overcoming obstacles and persevering in the face of rejection and disappointment to pursue his dream as a comic artist.
