Towards the tail end of the Xbox E3 presser, we were treated to the debut gameplay of the next installment of the Tomb Raider reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and I must admit I am impressed.
Just from this small section of gameplay you can already tell this game has improved on the previous. Boasting some gorgeous snow and ice effects, high action sequences that were in the previous game, the hunting is back, and I’m pretty certain I spotted a old school looking Lara in there somewhere (blue vest and brown shorts) but I could be wrong as I was too transfixed on what was in front of me.
Other than that there wasn’t a lot shown off, but I’m sure that’s being saved for Square Enix presser later in the week. For now just sit back and enjoy the video below.
