Earlier this week we told you about some supposed leaked screenshots from Dark Souls III that looked surprisingly legit. Well turns out they could be just that as the heavily rumoured 3rd instalment could very well have just been leaked via IGN.
The following promotional image that was received by IGN in the build up to E3 was posted up on their site:
As you can clearly see, From Software are targeting an Early 2016 release for what will surely be a highly anticipated release.
This is not by far the first Dark Souls III rumour to have come out, it had been reported a while back that a source close to the project had confirmed that the series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki will once again be directing. As fans of the series know, Miyazaki only supervised from afar on Dark Souls II as he was busy at work on Bloodborne.
Naturally, nobody from either Bandai Namco or From Software has commented on this, but no doubt all will be revealed during E3.
