Counter Terrorist Units are the backbone of Rainbow Six: Siege, and are formed from the worlds elite combat forces.
The trailer below is the second episode in a series of videos detailing the units you will encounter. Whether it’s the SAS of Great Britain, The GIGN of France, The Spetsnaz of Russia, the GSG9 of Germany or the FBI SWAT, each of these units will be easily recognizable in game.
This episode takes a look at the FBI SWAT and introduces you to the 4 key members of the squad and some of the gadgetry they posses. First up there is Ash, armed with an all round sub machine gun and grenade launcher she is definitely one women you don’t want to mess with. Next comes Pulse, armed with a shotgun and heartbeat monitor, this is one close quarters specialist you won’t be easily hiding from. Then there is Castle, this is one guy you can rely on when you need a position barricading, equipped with bullet proof barricades he is one guy to help get you out of a pinch. Finally we have Thermite, and as the names suggests he’s the explosive expert. He comes equipped with thermite explosives that will make short work of most surfaces for that surprise assault on the enemy.
