As confirmed by the game’s creator, Keiji Inafune, Mighty No.9 is due to release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on September 15th in North America and on September 18th in Europe. The Kickstarter-funded 2.5D action platformer redolent of the venerable MegaMan games will be released digitally on Xbox 360 whilst Xbox One owners can either download it or pick up a physical copy. This announcement also goes in hand with the news that developer comcept and Inafune have struck a deal with Deep Silver who will be assuming publishing responsibilities. Also, good news for Kickstarter backers as they will be provided with free DLC entitled ‘Ray’ DLC in which you will unlock Ray as a playable character.
