On Friday April 15th, Smash Bros inspired beat’em/shoot’em up game Robo Wars, is releasing on Nintendo Switch! The rewarding, frenetic action based combat is loaded with shooting and explosions and has vibes of Smash Bros and the 2D Dragon Ball Z games. Developed by indie studio, Simplicity Games, Robo Wars is to be published by MobilWay on Nintendo Switch.
With dynamic fighting at the heart of the gameplay, and a whole host of customisations for your mecha, Robo Wars can be enjoyed both single and multiplayer. Each mecha has a vast array of mecha and gun upgrade options, with more battle arenas being unlocked via in game progression. With addictive gameplay and the ability to play with your friends, blast your way to victory with your customised mech.

In Robo Wars there are over 13 types of Mecha for players to play as, loadable with 10 types of weapons! Mecha characters can be modified to suit your play style. Across the 8 different battle arenas players will have to adapt to the area as various layout and unique hazards.

While working on Robo Wars our main goal was to provide players with engaging and intensive gameplay. It’s a title that will appeal to fans of Super Smash Bros or enthusiasts of Brawlhall and TowerFall style gameplay.
