Guinness World Records took the results from a recent public vote to find out the “Best Video Games Franchise”. The online poll had more than 5000 votes from over 140 countries. The overall winner was Activision’s Call of Duty franchise. The results of the vote will be printed in this year’s Guinness World Records: Gamer Edition.
This may be controversial, as 5000 votes does not appear to be a large turnout for the entire gaming community. This is not to take away any victory from Activision and Call of Duty, but people might inquire for another vote to take place and more votes to be required.
