Ubisoft have now released the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, which is this years last gen Assassin’s Creed release title. Xbox 360 players will get to see what the other side live like in Rogue. This news follows last week’s release of the current generations’ Assassins Creed Unity release trailer.
The trailer shows Shay and his turning from Assassin to Templar, while also encountering a number of returning faces from previous Assassin’s Creed titles. Shay’s journey looks to be a powerful tale which many fans will be looking forward to playing; I for one am very excited to get my hands on this game. This title also proves that previous generation consoles are not done yet: the graphics look stunning and some of the gameplay shown for this game lets us know that Xbox 360 is not done yet.
Does this possibly mean a trend of 2 Assassin’s Creed releases happens every year? I personally fear that the series will lose its appeal very quickly; ever since 2009 there has been a yearly release from the franchise. I feel that a year-long break may be needed to let people’s anticipation build back up and let people recharge and feel refreshed for a truly awe-inspiring experience that Ubisoft can still deliver.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue is out for Xbox 360 on 14/11/2014.
