On January 7th 2022 Celeritas Games announced the upcoming co-op survival horror game, Holy Purge. Team up with up to 3 players, unite the holy forces and stop an evil plague from consuming a village. Team up with your friends to eradicate the witchcraft that threatens to engulf the village, fight off werewolves, and escape the reaper of souls.
Holy Purge a co-op experience coming to Steam
This online co-op experience has been announced currently for Steam. Players will find themselves teaming up as part of the Holy Brethren and exploring an open-world medieval village, plagued by forces of evil. Ontop of ridding the village of these hellish creatures, players must work together to collect special ritual items to reverse the witch’s spell.
While fighting the onslaught of werecreatures and demons you must use your spiritual powers and weapons such as holy crosses, silver weapons and torches. Once you have defeated the evil spirits players must complete the ritual and cleanse the village.
What’s the replayablilty of Holy Purge?
Holy Purge offers great replayability for players as objectives are randomized, along with ritual items and collectibles. Difficulty scales as the game progresses with enemies getting faster and stronger. Be careful! For the bravest and strongest of holy warriors who want a greater challenge, the game also includes a Nightmare mode.
Holy Purge is best enjoyed multiplayer and Celeritas Games has warned that single player is for hardcore players only. There is no news yet of when we can expect Holy Purge to launch, but Gamerhub will be sure to keep you looped in as we receive updates.
