New information has been revealed today by KOEI TECMO Europe and Omega Force regarding the upcoming Dynasty Warrios 9 Empires.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is a tactical action game that allows players to re-write history (in game) via certain scenarios. Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires adds tactical and strategic elements in addition to the 1v1000 the series is known for.
Experience the battles not only on the battlefield, but also through an impressive political simulation system. Have you got what it takes to conquer ancient China? The game includes Age of Empires-like scenarios that transport players to different periods, allowing them to experience historical moments.
An open ended experience, relive history or make your own. You do not have to follow history, strategize on and off the battlefield until you are victorious. Live with your choices and their consequences. Let an enemy officer live and take control of the map by starting a rebellion.
Depending on style of play, players will be rewarded with a title depending on reputation, there are six possibilities. Upon receiving their title, their affinity with other officers will change and there will be special events to highlight the best and worst of them. Gain a sense immersion by strengthening relationships with your favorite officers, who can not only be married, but also have children with. These offspring can grow up and become an officer you can play as!
A demo of DYNASTY WARRIORS 9 Empires will be available shortly before the game’s launch in early 2022.
The demo includes new evolved castle seats, including invasion and defence battles. The demo will also include the full version of the game’s edit mode, to alter the abilities of the new officers before the game is released. Changes made are also transferrable from the demo to the final game!
The game is currently in development and will be available on February 15, 2022 on Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam®, PlayStation®4, as well as for download on PlayStation®5*. This new episode will also be available on Google Stadia™ at a later date.
