Call of Duty fans are by no small means a minority of gamers: FPS games have became a must have for the industry. Call of Duty may be the most recognised of all FPS franchises that are around today, so much so that Activision have brought a third development studio (Sledgehammer Games) in the hopes that it will help keep things fresh and exciting for their powerhouse franchise.

Digital copies of the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Xbox 360 will be eligible for a free upgrade to the Xbox One digital copy. This will only be for a short time (until 31st March 2015 to be precise), so if you perhaps find a Xbox One in your possession before the date and you own a digital copy for Xbox 360, you will be eligible for the free upgrade. This offer will not include the physical copies of the game, though digital transfer does promise to carry over all your multiplayer stats earned across to the Xbox One version of the game.

Xbox One fans will be able to pre-order and pre-download their digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare soon. On top of this, pre-orders of the special Day Zero edition will be given access to the game a full 24 hours before retail release.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out for retail release worldwide on November 4th 2014 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
