Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes, originally on the Nintendo DS system, releasing in 2006. The original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl versions have been revamped and come with an improved color palette for the Nintendo Switch.
Returning to the game, players will work with Professor Rowan, battle against Team Galactic, explore the Grand Underground. For those setting out through Sinnoh for the first time, plenty of fun encounters and surprises await. New Pokémon trainers will wrestle with the decision of choosing from Turtwig, Chimchar or Piplup (if you’ve not chosen Turtwig turn off the game and start again) to be their starter Pokémon before setting off on their journey. On your way to becoming a Pokémon Master, get your Pokéballs ready for when you encounter the Legendary Pokémon Dialga in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Palkia in Pokémon Shining Pearl.
