Imagine being able to travel back in time, maybe to the 80’s, and bringing back something that so many people enjoyed, and now they get to relive the experience again. Sounds interesting – and it’s happened!
Alex Kidd, originally a Sega classic in 1986, has been redeveloped and reborn by Merge Games in conjunction with Jankenteam on June 24th 2021, and is now celebrating it’s 35 years since it’s original release on 1st November 1986.
Since it’s rebirth, Merge Games has said that they are on track to pass over 200,000 units of Alex Kidd sold by Christmas this year! Now that’s impressive considering it’s over 35 years old – everyone likes a classic!
