Koch Media and Deep Silver have proudly announced that they have acquired the Homefront brand and all assets from Crytek. This includes Homefront: The Revolution which was announced at the beginning of June.
Deep Silver are so confident in the success of this new addition that they have founded Deep Silver Dambusters Studios, based in Nottingham, to take on the task.
Dr Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media, was quite excited about the acquisition, “We are thrilled to see another great IP joining the Deep Silver universe …….. We strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and trust in the new team to continue the path we have been walking in the last years.”
Will this studio manage to make Homefront: The Revolution the hit that the original was supposed to be? We’ll have to wait and see.
