Although not set for release until early 2015, development studio GriN have given us a teaser trailer for the dark fairytale platformer game Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries. Check it out here!

A few weeks ago at E3, screenshots of the dark fairytale in the making were revealed and it was one of my favourite announcements at E3 this year (check out my article about it here if you haven’t already). Woolfe: The Redhood Diaries was originally released via Steam Greenlight and was so well-received that it is now coming to Xbox One at the beginning of next year.

What I like about this teaser trailer is the amount of gameplay footage; it’s pretty rare to get decent gameplay footage from a game that’ll still be in development for at least another 6 months. The combat and art style are easy to see in this trailer too. The art style is dark and mysterious, putting a twist on the classic children’s story known and loved by many. The original story of Little Red Riding Hood can be thought of as quite sinister though, or is that just me?
