So E3 kicked off yesterday with Microsoft’s Conference and a blistering introduction to the all new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

While we may not have seen any more of Kevin Spacey, we certainly got a far better flavour of what the game will include as we were dropped into the “Induction” campaign level, which follows a group of US Marines as they drop into the battle lines of Seoul, South Korea.

It’s almost 10 minutes of gloriously over the top Call of Duty with some extra spice added with the more futuristic weapons and hardware.  There were explosions, there was the death scene for the greater good, there was much bombast.  Advanced Warfare brings to mind shades of Battlefield, of Titanfall (that drop capsule to me looks straight out of Titanfall) and even of the like of Section 8 in places.

One thing is for sure, it will sell by the bucketload. You know it, we know it.
