Bandai Namco has just announced The Lost Crowns, a trilogy of downloadable content for Dark Souls 2. The first of these, Crown of the Sunken King, will be available on July the 22nd and will begin your own journey to reclaim crowns that were once owned by Drangleic’s King Vendrick.
Episode 2, Crown of the Old Iron King and Episode 3, Crown of the Ivory King have no current release dates, but are visible in the announcement trailer (above) showing locations and enemies that appear within the DLC Trilogy. Hopefully, the new locations and enemies will keep us dying over and over again, as more content for Dark Souls 2 is definitely something to look forward to. This also means that we’ll see a bit of a longer life span to the game, as the original had only one piece of downloadable content, Artorias of the Abyss.
This looks incredibly interesting, and could give us some more lore about the world of Drangleic that many player’s have tried to decipher since the games release earlier this year. You can see what we thought of the game here.
