For those of us waiting patiently for some news of the Xbox One Edition of Minecraft, we have some good news! Phil Spencer, the new head of Xbox has just tweeted out that saves from the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft will be able to be transferred to the Xbox One Edition when it is released. This means that all that time you spent mining and building up those awesome creations won’t be completely wasted if you choose to upgrade to the bigger, better Xbox One version of the game.
There’s still no solid release date confirmed for the Xbox One release, but news of this could be coming soon, possibly at E3 where Spencer stated it’ll be about games and not hype. This updated version touts bigger worlds, bigger multiplayer and will most likely contain all, if not more of the updates that the Xbox 360 version currently has, bringing it much closer to the PC version of the game. This could well mean that Horses will be in the game at the release of this upgraded version. You can see the tweets for yourself below.
