The Danish developer Press Play recently revealed a new co-operative platformer for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 named Project Totem. The team recently developed and released Max: The Curse of Brotherhood on both platforms.
Players in Project Totem will control two pieces of a totem pole with their controller, or via local co-op. Supposedly, the basic premise of the game is hard to describe, but you immediately get it when you have the controller in your hands. This comes from Rune Dittmer, the studio director at Press Play.
The development began as a prototype that was shown at a party from the game’s director, Asger Standby and the lead designer, Bo Strandby. It was then given the go-ahead to develop the core concept, and after a year, the team is ready to announce.
