With Titanfall X1 landing just a few weeks back a lot of people wondered if EA and Bluepoint would be able to deliver for us players hanging in on the Xbox360.  Would they be able to achieve the blast given to the X1 users? Would they be able to even come close to the bar set so high or would they trip and fall leaving 360 users weeping over their (no longer) joypads?

Well the initial scores have begun to role in for Titanfall 360 and by the Gods it looks like we are in for a good time.

OXM Scored it 9/10 and said –

“Bluepoint kicks anxiety to the curb with a smart, efficient port, that’s fundamentally the same as Titanfall on Xbox One. If you can’t afford a new console, save your pocket money for this.”

Game Informer again 9/10 –

“The 360 version of Titanfall holds up well as an overall experience, even though it is undoubtedly the worst way to experience the game, reflected in a quarter-point drop in score compared to the Xbox One and PC versions… Players who have not yet made the jump to a high-end PC or new-gen console have a competent way to play one of this year’s most exciting games, and that’s a chance that shouldn’t be missed by quibbling over visual hang-ups.”

Xbox Achievements Scored a 88/100 –

“There’s a lot to be said for the inherently fun, shooty mech action that Titanfall has to offer, and considering this was touted as a next-gen experience, you can get the effectively same on your 360 for all intents and purposes. Kudos, Bluepoint.”

I’m a 360 user myself and I’m now very much looking forward to getting my grubby little paws on this monster!

Where do I want you to drop my Titan?  In my ruddy front room!

Are you looking forward to Titanfall 360?  Do you have higher hopes after reading this? Let us know how you feel…
