Some fantastic news coming out from Xbox Wire this week for everyone who just loves to share their gaming exploits.  Not only will we have Twitch streaming but you’ll soon also be able to upload your exploits directly to your YouTube channel. This should finally remove the rigmarole of editing in the Game DVR, saving to your One Drive, downloading on a PC, editing in your video editing software then uploading to your YouTube channel. Don’t know about you lot, but that’s a huge win in my book!

With Game DVR and Upload being among the most used apps on Xbox One, the update to the YouTube app will make it even easier to watch and share video clips thanks to a simple edit of your settings on the One (In Settings you simply elect to “Share game clips” and “Share on social network”).

YouTube Integration

Now, use Game DVR to capture epic gaming moments, edit them in Upload Studio, and, with the simple click of a button inside the YouTube app (look for My Uploads), share them instantly to your YouTube channel. The updated YouTube experience also allows you to watch YouTube videos in Snap Mode, earn Media Achievements, and adds YouTube channels to OneGuide for instant access to YouTube videos right next to your favorite TV listings or App Channels.
