According to a post on Battlelog, updated last night, Premium Members should be able to download the Naval Strike expansion on Xbox One soon, as it has begun rolling out on the platform. Previously delayed until sometime in April, Naval Strike had been released on all but the Xbox One and PC at it’s regularly scheduled release date for Premium Members.
Alongside this release is a patch to the game that should fix the issues that were delayed the content in the first place. It will fix netcode issues, include general fixes and add in some things to the game’s progression perks. The changelog for this update is available on the Battlelog forums.
DICE have clearly worked extremely hard to get this problem fixed, as it has only been a few days since the initial release of the expansion, and whatever the delay was for the Xbox One seems to have been fixed in time to still release the content within the same week they had originally intended.
Naval Strike’s maps will include dynamic weather, some interesting Levelution features and a lot of naval warfare, including the biggest expanse of water seen in a Battlefield game previously. It adds new maps, weapons and the Carrier Assault game mode based on Battlefield 2142’s Titan mode. So go check it out if you have premium!
