The Game slash Game Design Tool for Xbox One and Windows 8, Project Spark, has been released to all in Open Beta for both platforms. Previously only in closed beta through invites, anyone can download the Beta of the game for the Xbox One or PC (provided they’re on the latest Windows 8 Update) can download and create their own video games.
Project Spark was among the first games shown at the Xbox One E3 Reveal and there is a lot of interesting things you can do with the program, as it’s as much game as it is game engine for people to create their own ideas within the confines of what they’re provided. It will be interesting to see what people can come up with, and since it’s free, anyone can give it a shot to see if they’re up to the task of making a game.
