With a new multiplayer game comes new cheats and hacks for players to gain an unfair advantage and generally just annoy other gamers. Titanfall released last week and there has been some reports of cheating, including aimbots, which essentially is a program that aims for the player, meaning headshots and the like are more likely and generally ruins the fun for everyone involved.
There have been reports that Respawn acknowledge that there’s an issue with cheaters and have some anti-cheat measures for the game already that just aren’t enabled yet. It’s clearly important to them, as they’re calling out cheaters and working to try and find the best way to deal with them. Some users joined in the twitter discussion, complaining about the cheats in general.
Hopefully this will be enacted soon so everyone can have a good ol’ time shooting each other without getting frustrated by anyone ruining the fun of others. The Xbox 360 version of the game is scheduled to come out before the end of the month.
