It has now been officially announced that The Fullbright Company’s title Gone Home is coming to consoles this year. Gone Home was originally released on PC and Steam and immediately caused a storm – I for one can vouch how amazing this game is, it’s definitely deserving of one of the best games of 2013.
The Fullbright Company have joined forces with Midnight City to make all of this possible, and a console announcement trailer has now been released.
Gone Home is an interactive exploration game following the story of the Greenbriar family. You play as Kaitlin, the eldest daughter as she returns home from travelling and finds that no one is there. You must explore and piece together the story in order to find out the truth. It has so many twists and turns, but everything just comes together so neatly at the end. I won’t spoil it for you if you’re waiting for it to be released on consoles!

The Fullbright Company comprises of developers from the BioShock franchise turned indie developers who want to make games that allow players freedom to explore the real life stories of characters you can relate to. Based on how incredible Gone Home is and how it sparked an emotional reaction in pretty much everyone who has played it, I know I can’t wait for what’s in store after this.
