In a recent blog post by our own Chris Peebles, it was announced in this post that there would be no Season Pass for Titanfall. Basically, if and when you decided to purchase some downloadable content for the game, you wouldn’t have been able to receive any discounts on purchasing before hand.
In a very quick turn of events, it has now been confirmed by Vince Zampella that there WILL be a Season Pass for Titanfall. This confirmation came in an interview with Gamespot on ‘The Lobby’ livestream where Zampella stated that:
“We’re going to do a season pass – if you buy it up front you get a better price”
It was also confirmed that microtransactions will not be a feature in the game. At this current time, there is no pricing information and no official documentation or references exist online detailing the Season Pass details.
Titanfall will be released next week on Xbox One and PC. It will be released on Xbox 360 on 25 March.
