Finally, Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare comes to Xbox before any other platform in just over a week’s time. It will be released on PC later this spring and PopCap intend on bringing the plant-and-zombie action to other platforms.

The popular tower defence game turned third-person shooter is set to be just as chaotic and crazy as the original PC version. If you ever played the original, you’ll know exactly how crazy it can get.
Although an entirely different genre, the aim is effectively the same – defeat the horde of zombies with plants. PvZ: Garden Warfare combines classic tower defence mechanics with third-person shooter gameplay elements. The added third-person perspective allows players more freedom, but gives the zombies more room to run wild too. With all-new features including Co-op and multiplayer, as well as character customisation, PvZ: Garden Warfare looks to be more exciting as the original.
The humour of the PvZ titles has attracted a lot of attention. The overall theme has never been too serious a subject – zombies might not like the sun, but what do they have against plants? Garden Warfare can be thought of as a parody, poking fun at some major franchises. It’s no surprise that even the name of the game took its influence from a certain franchise. Although I’m not sure how I feel about some of the humour…
