Nordic Games, who acquired the Darksiders and Red Faction licences from THQ’s Demise seem to be trying to resurrect, or at least keep alive, both franchises by releasing collections of both franchises some time this year on the Xbox 360.
Darksiders with it’s sequel and DLC and Red Faction: Guerrilla, Armageddon and it’s DLC will both be available as one purchase, supposedly as soon as March 14th, though Nordic Games themselves have only confirmed Q2 2014 as a release date.
Both of these collections seem to be extremely worth it when considering some gamers may have missed these. The Darksiders franchise is one of my personal favourites, so it’s nice to see it’s not ready to die quite yet. Red Faction Guerrilla is also a fantastic game, and having it’s sequel there too can’t hurt. Amazon UK lists the Darksiders collection as £34.99, though doesn’t list Red Faction quite yet.
If you haven’t picked them up yet, this could be worth waiting for.
