Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb posted some details on his website recently that announced a new set of special edition chrome Xbox 360 controllers will be hitting shelves in March. They come in two snazzy colours, black and purple, and definitely look very fancy. So if you’re in the market for a new controller, you might want to hold off, as much as your old Xbox 360 ones might be wearing down after all these years, if they can last longer you might be able to pick up one of these awesome new ones! Chrome! Shiny!
If you’re in the US, you can pick up the Black exclusively in Walmart and the Purple exclusively at Best Buy, both will be available on the Microsoft Store. No details on us here in the UK just yet, but a lot of these have come to us not long after they have been in the States. They’ll cost you $54.99, so there’s that too.
