Worms Battlegrounds has been announced, and it’s going to be the franchises debut on next gen. The Worms franchise of course has been around since 1995, and it’s had a lot of fantastic games under it’s name. Later on this year, we’ll get to blow each other (and the environment) up to our hearts content on the Xbox One.
This also marks one of the first titles on Xbox One to be self-published by Team17 as part of the ID@Xbox Program. This is a huge step for the Independent scene, and it’s great to see a developer such as Team17 taking the reigns in this. Exciting times are beginning this year, and this seems to be only the start of the news that’s dropping all over the Xbox One.
