Off the back of the Project Scarlett announcment, we got to see whats new for the Master Chief with ‘Halo Infinite’
The new teaser shows a lone engineer drifting hopelessly in space to then finding the Chief and returning him to the fight. Whilst not in game footage, Infinite appears to be a new direction for our green hero and a more human approach was teased in what footage we where shown.
Since last years E3, Halo Infinite has been made out to be the series’ first foray into free-roaming. Whilst 343 are yet to comment, we do know that the game will feature somekind of Halo Installation within its story.
Halo Infinite is also being described as a “soft reboot” of the series, and will add as a new story arc for the Chief. Whilst going in this new direction Halo Infinite will also respect and continue story threads that lead to this point.
On a final note: Halo Infinite will also be a launch title for the next Xbox – Project Scarlett.
