At the end of this years Microsoft presentation we where shown the first details of the next Xbox Console – Project Scarlett.
Whilst the Console itself was not present we were given a few details of the specs behind the machine.
Microsoft’s main boast was that the Scarlett will be 4X as powerful as the Xbox One X and will be powered by an AMD core. Also stated is that the console will offer frame rates of up to 120 frames per second. Which is currently twice the amount than the standard T.V.
Scarlett will also feature a new hybrid SSD which also acts as virtual RAM. This will mean that the Scarlett will have incredibly fast boot and load times.
Project Scarlett will launch Holiday 2020 which in UK terms means around October/November. So we have plenty of times to save then ;)
