The Arcade Crew and Joymasher have recently announced that their fast paced retro shoot-em-up Blazing Chrome is due out on Xbox one in the Spring.
Presented in glorious 16-bit this game is an homage to classic arcade games like Contra and Metal Slug, and has a great soundtrack to match the era it was inspired by.
Based in the future where militant AI controlled computers rule the world, you play as one of two heroes to try and fight back against the rampaging machines – Mavra is a badass human resistance fighter and Doyle is a groovy robot insurgent. You can either choose to play as one of these and take the fight alone, or team up with a friend and rain bullets down together. Either way you will have to bring your A game as you will be fending off everything from agile efficient killing machines to hulking monstrosities in this fast paced side-scrolling bullet fest.
