Prepare for battle, as Wild River and Zaxis games have announced that their Norse comic action-adventure game is coming to consoles on 28th February!
Set during the Fimble Winter, this game tells a tale of an elder Berserker called Kveldulver who was killed during a raid on his village but was later resurrected. It seemed that the goddesses of fate and destiny saw a greater purpose for this aging warrior – Preventing Raganarok, the end of the world.
Kveldulver thus sets out on a legendary adventure meeting many characters both friend and foe, and will have plenty of decisions to make along the way. Told in gripping comic book style, this adventure is not purely linear, as far as time goes that is. The gods that resurrected Kveldulver imbued in him the power to go back to pivotal moments in his journey. This will allow you to go back to previous decisive moments in order to explore different outcomes. In a game where every decision counts this is going to be essential for your success.
You will face enemies of all shapes and sizes, from warriors to Jotun, and will be able to unlock many different ways of dispatching them. Combat is said to be easy to learn, but will have deeper techniques and nuances that will reward a more dedicated and experienced player.
