Panache Studios are coming in hot with their debut title Ancestors: The humankind Odyssey. Ancestors takes us over 10 million years into the past and is set in the harsh yet beautiful land of Africa, where you will have to explore, expand and evolve to advance yourself and your clan through the generations.

Spanning from 10 million to 2 million years ago during the Neogene period you play as a hominid (primate, and early version of humans) at the dawn of humankind in this open world survival game. You will have to do more than just survive however if you are going to advance your clan. Discovering and exploring new places, surviving encounters with predators, learning new skills and abilities – all of these and more will help you to grow in numbers and advance through the generations, choosing what traits and knowledge are to be passed on.

Promising breath-taking views of Africa from lush jungles to golden savannas and 8 million years of human evolution, this is going to be quite a unique game with many rewarding challenges to overcome. The developers are definitely passionate and dedicated to making it a success:

“We want to give an experience no player has ever lived before”
“Our small team will always seek to push the boundaries of what our medium is. The very early evolution of the humankind is an ambitious, truly immersive, and exclusive setting that will delight gamers of all types”
– Patrice Désilets, co-founder and Creative Director of Panache Digital Games

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is set to release sometime in 2019 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.  Check back here at XBLGamerhub for more news.
