The question that has plagued man since the dawn of time has finally been answered…

As of today (right now even) the Xbox One can run Crysis!

Major Nelson has announced today on his blog, that Crysis, 2 & 3 are now part of the ever growing list of Xbox 360 games that are playable on the Xbox One and X consoles.
Crysis was, and in a way still is the benchmark game of the modern PC era. If it couldn’t run Crysis then you had a rubbish PC. But what is Crysis?

Crysis is a first person shooter that was developed by Crytek. Originally a released as a PC exclusive, before being re-released on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game features the player being outfitted with a suit which granted super human abilities such as; speed, strength and stealth.
Although not fully open-world, the series does offer a lot of ways to go about completing  objective’s and offers a vast array of weapon customisation. Crysis 2 & 3 also feature a multiplayer element which pits two nano suited teams against each other over various game-types.

Crysis*, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 are available now via the Xbox Store or via disc. *Crysis was originally part of the Xbox Live Arcade so is only available digitally.
