Military Shooter – Warface, is now available to download from the Microsoft Store. The added bonus is that Warface is…FREE!

Warface is a first person shooter that takes place in an alternate universe where players join the Warface faction in the fight against their Blackwood rivals. Once players have created their avatar soldier, we can then customise them further by becoming a range of sub-classes such as; Rifleman, Sniper, Support or Medic. Each class has its own abilities and gameplay style.

For privacy reasons YouTube needs your permission to be loaded.

Warface also features a story driven Co-op mode, where we can team up with friends to fight Blackwood throughout six missions. Warface also features numerous PvP modes, so there is quite a lot available for a free 2 play title. With free 2 play there is the option to buy in game extras with our hard earned real world cash, in the form of an in-game store. During my breif time with the game today I have only seen cosmetic items in the store in the range of weapon skins and player equipment.

Warface on Xbox One also has some timed Xbox Exclusives. These include:

  • Special Operation Mission- Cyberhorde

Which pits the squad against an army of the Undead, whilst trying to protect an EMP generator.

  • Bag & Tag – PvP Mode

This mode sees players fighting for themselves over a large arena. The object of this mode is to collect enemy dog tags whilst protecting your own.

  •  PvP Maps – Farm, Motel & Outskirts

Each map has something different to offer. From the wide open fields of Farm, to the confined corridors of Motel, then to the Industrial zone of Outskirts. Each map features plenty of ways to utilise each class to their best.
