This is Sparta! No really, it is. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is based in Ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian war, which saw Athens taking on Sparta between 431 -404 BC. It was a long and bloody war, and you get to be part of these epic clashes. Hundreds of soldiers pitted against each other in a land of Myths, Legends, Beasts and great warriors – can you become the hero of Greece and turn the tides of history?

Choose your hero
You start your journey as an outcast Greek mercenary, and for the first time in an Assassin’s Creed game you can choose what hero you are going to embark on your epic journey with. Whether you go for Alexios or Kassandra, you will be able to customise your gear and ship (yes, ships are back) and upgrade your abilities as you level up.

Progression Path
The game boasts having over 30 hours of dialogue and multiple game endings, and that “your decisions will shape the world around you”. Great news for completionists and those who appreciate good re-play value.

Oh and there are seven, yes seven editions of the game! So you’ll be able to find one that fits your budget/fan level.
