Retro gaming fans can rejoice as today marks the release of not only Mega Man 11, but also the 30th Anniversary Edition. Capcom have been pumping out Mega Man games since 1987 and have put in a double shift here releasing a fresh new title and a bundle containing 8 Mega Man X games, the 10 Mega Man main series games and of course the latest title Mega Man 11.
Shiny New!
With this new title Capcom have stayed with the classic 2D platform approach but did not forget to update the visuals. These enhancements make the latest title pleasing to eye and fun to play for those that are old or new to the franchise. A new system called Double Gear has been implemented to the game, this allows you to either slow down time, boost your speed or power up your shots for increased damage – this is going to be fun to play around with!

The game boasts multiple game modes including time trials, global leaderboards and of course plenty of missions full of traps and enemies to run, jump and blast through. There’s even a concept art gallery to enjoy if that’s your thing.
For those that are new to Mega Man there is a free demo version available to download.
