Straight out of the gates Xbox meant business as they let their flagship franchise set the tone for the rest of the show. The Halo announcement took many by surprise, us included at XBLG, though clearly labelled as a game engine demonstration it was clear we were not seeing any gameplay footage.
The beautiful landscapes and weather effects were perfectly displayed while not giving away anything at all really. Though the final reveal of the Halo ring brings back some serious feelings to us fans.
There is a small part in the middle of the trailer where we hear Morse code over the radio, any thoughts on what that is?
What we know for definite is that in the last few appearances, Master Chief is more comfortable taking his helmet off, just not showing his face.
That is assuming that the SPARTAN shown at the end of the trailer is in fact the legendary Sierra 117.
