We are super stoked here at Gamerhub to be able to bring you some exclusive news about a new collaboration between two titans of the gaming industry. Xbox Pope teased this video on 1st November:

and we can announce that he is partnering up with legendary studio 2K to offer you, yes YOU the chance to win a Borderlands 3 Claptrap themed Xbox series X! It’s a chance to get your mits on an one of a kind console and be the envy of fans all over the world.

If you’ve never heard of Xbox Pope before then you can check out some of his amazing work on his Instagram or Twitter pages. Suffice to say he has made a pretty big name for himself since starting to design custom consoles and controllers back in 2014. In these past three years he has launched a staggering amount of designs, waaaaay too many to count! Not only is his work truly outstanding, but his designs are not all themed on hit games like most limited editions are. He seems to cover most of pop culture like films, sports teams and even clothing brands like adidas. I can guarantee there is something for everyone in his portfolio.

2K studios don’t really need much of an introduction, being the creators of the ever-popular Borderlands series of games. Fans of the franchise will all know and love Claptrap, the character that is wonderfully brought to life on the Pope’s latest creation. Gamerhub had the chance to ask the Xbox Pope about how this new venture came about:

“The collaboration happened after a fan requested the Clap Trap design and the team at borderlands seen it and loved it. The 2k UK team thought it would be a great opportunity to work with me on the competition”

Information is thin at this point but what we do know is that the competition launches on the 9th of November and that the Xbox Pope will be guest judge. We will have to stay tuned to the 2K UK twitter on the 9th for out details how to enter!

But that’s not all folks…. we probed the XboxPope for any information on upcoming projects or collaborations and he had this to say:

“I do have some big things in the pipeline but more will be revealed over the next few weeks and months”

So keep your eyes peeled to XBLG as we will break the news when we get it :)
