What’s your gamer tag/nickname, and is there a story behind it?

Well, um, it’s my name, and the story is that I’m the greatest space wrestler in the world. So, yeah, fun story, eh? LOOK HOW HANDSOME I AM!

How long have you been gaming, and what initially got you into it?

All my space life! I got into it when I was a wee lad and you could start up a game without a 50 GB download. That’s right, those times existed. Shout out to my X-Men Arcade1up and collection of Diehard Gamefan magazines!

What games do you enjoy playing the most, and what do you love about them?

Big fan of retro-style games, as well as racers, first-person shooters, wrestling games (of course) and Metroidvanias. Indie games, too. LOVE ‘EM!

Do you have a preferred gaming platform (PC, console, mobile), and why?

Big fan of the Xbox Series X and the Nintendo Switch, but my heart is set on my Sega Dreamcast. And for good reason, it’s got so many classics! Also, shoutout to my PlayStation Vita and my TurboExpress, which threatened to stop working if I didn’t give it a mention.

What’s your favorite gaming memory or achievement?

Going to my first E3 event (well, while they were around). The games! The people! The swag! The booth babes! It had it all! And, of course, it was ruined just as quickly. Sigh. *pours space beer*

Outside of gaming, what are your hobbies or interests?

Saving the world, bad movies, watching wrestling, Godzilla, beating up thugs and talking with fellow gamers. HOW DO!

Are there any specific roles or playstyles you excel at within the team?

I’m terrific at retro games as well as racing games. Gavin owes me $80.

What do you hope to achieve as part of the gaming team?

Keeping things safe, pushing for the indie movement and making sure no one steals my pizza from the fridge. PUT IT BACK.

In it to win it. There’s too much happening in the game industry with everyone knocking each other down. But I’m here to lift people up. WITH BODY SLAMS!

In all seriousness, it’s time to celebrate the fun of gaming, be it super big releases or indie games you might have missed. As the official space wrestler for the team (someone tell Tajiri I got this corner of the web covered!), I can honestly say that I’m ready to grapple with great games and show everyone how awesome gaming community can be.
