I’ll be honest, it has been a while since I was invested in the Assassins Creed franchise. I loved Black Flag and the whole Ezio storyline was the pinnacle of the series. I purchased Unity at a bargain and all for its weird fragmented story and numerous bugs, I still enjoyed the game. But its still made me want more. Here’s the reveal trailer below:
Then earlier this year were the rumours of Assassins Creed Origins, almost starting a fresh with the series. And to be honest, it looks really good. The combat looks revamped, the exploration mostly the same and equipment now features an rpg system which feels like a good addition to the series.
Apart from the weirdly huge beasts and the highly ferocious animals. I’m looking forward to this Assassins Creed. Part of me hopes they will do away with the UI and make the eagle your main source of navigation. The UI and the maps in Creed games make it far too easy to navigate the world. Let the player explore and learn the open world. That would be a nice change. Hopefully we will see more before its release on October 27.
