An interesting tidbit during E3, Code Vein is an upcoming hack and slasher by Bandai Namco Studios which seems to combine anime style graphics with the intense combat of Dark Souls.
Set sometime after the destruction of humanity as we know it, Code Vein has you create a character known as a Revenant and choose a partner as you fight to survive in a world consumed by vampires. Use a variety of weapons and powers to defeat ‘overpowered’ enemies and rely on tactics as much as brute force with different partners tailoring to various types of gameplay.
Coming in 2018, the game will be available to play on Xbox One and Xbox One X. Watch the E3 trailer here:
