Star Wars Battlefront had a mixed response with fans upon release. It never quite held a candle to the original Battlefront games. Much like the prequels did for the original trilogy. I myself didn’t think too badly of the re-release. I played Battlefront after EA access gave the game away for free. There was a limited amount of content, but the feeling and the atmosphere of Star Wars was really captured in Star Wars Battlefront. The art style, the sounds and the levels paid a very good homage to the films.
Now we have Star Wars Battlefront 2. This sequel spans across 3 eras of star wars. All the way from episode 1 to episode 7. A whole host of new units, weapons and vehicles look to be added. I hope this one is jam packed with content and offers a true rival to the original Star Wars Battlefront 2. EA has said that there is a offline story that takes place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
