In a surprise to absolutely no-one, perhaps E3’s worst-kept secret (and that’s saying something), Dead Rising 4, was confirmed during Microsoft’s keynote presentation yesterday as an Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive.
Confirming much of what had been leaked in the 48 hours previous, Dead Rising 4 will see you once again step into the shoes of everyone’s favourite grumpy middle-aged photographer, Frank West, as he revisits the town of Willamette 16 years after the events of the original game.
Most importantly, the trailer quickly assuaged any fears that the series may take a more serious tack by showing Frank equipped with an insane array of not-traditional-but-highly-effective weapons to tackle large swathes of zombies.
Dead Rising 4 is scheduled for release in late 2016.
